Judging

What weight is put on public votes Vs judges votes? It lends itself to entrants getting as many of their friends, contacts etc to vote for them as opposed to genuine public vote, weighting it in their favour.

    Thanks for your question! The Popular Choice Award is based purely off the public vote count and submitters are encouraged to share their submission with their friends and family. All other prizes are awarded based on the judges' scores only.

    Cool. That makes sense. Thanks for your quick response. Is there any expectation or possibility Lilly (given they're the poster) will engage with the company behind the app? or are they just looking for ideas and inspiration :-)
    Have their been challenges in the past where the winners have since been engaged with the sponsors in a commercial relationship?

    I’m happy to help!

    There have been challenges run on ChallengePost that resulted in commercial relationships between submitters and sponsors. However, the prizes for the Patient Engagement App Challenge do not include a commercial relationship with the sponsor.
